First and foremost, I’m a human walking the yogic path. Yoga is more than the physical shapes [or asana] for me. It’s my backbone; a way of living, breathing, being. Through my yoga practice [on and off the mat], I have found profound healing and ways of being. After a mild scoliosis diagnosis and PCOS, I found myself seeking restorative practices, leading me through the doors of my local yoga studio.

It’s under the tutelage of Kim Manfredi, Jessica Crowley Ambrose, and Keith Golden that I found fluidity, receptivity, alignment, and primal movement. This sparked an old love in a new way, discovering a movement practice that brought me home, back into my body. Under the mentorship of Maya Basik, and her sacred wild of life, I remembered the ancient language of menstrual cycle wisdom, sensational awareness, seasonal living; these frameworks opened access to the innate wisdom within my own body.

As a somatic practitioner, run coach, and yoga teacher for humans, I support all kinds of experiences, backgrounds, sexualities, and expressions to find greater body literacy, embodiment, healing, and Wisdom Within. I support individuals to awaken, nurture, and find peace within their own body, by providing tools and frameworks, so that you can access your true PR: a life you love to run. Your race, your pace.

The story behind the resume

My Soul’s Work:

I help women, runners, athletes, and seekers reconnect with their bodies through a blend of somatic healing, performance coaching, and embodied movement.

My approach bridges three disciplines:

Somatic Therapy

Understanding the nervous system, trauma patterns, and how the body holds experience.

Run Coaching

Evidence-based training for endurance athletes who want to move with strength, intelligence, and longevity.

Yoga & Embodiment

Practices that cultivate awareness, breath, presence, and inner listening.

The Philosophy

Most training programs teach you to override your body.

My work teaches you how to listen to it.

When we train in partnership with the nervous system, rather than against it, we unlock:

  • sustainable performance

  • deeper resilience

  • authentic self-trust

The Vision

I believe a new generation of athletes is emerging.. nay, here and remembering.

Athletes who train with:

  • intelligence

  • intuition

  • emotional awareness

  • reverence for the body

This is not simply coaching.

It’s a movement toward embodied performance.

Rooting in Frequency, Real Impact.

Taylor Ann Pappas is proud to partner with rescues and animal organizations across the country. Every time you explore space with her, you help provide hope and healing for animals at Live Like Roo, Abandoned Pet Rescue, Good Karma Rescue, and Last Chance Animal Rescue. Each month, a portion of your investment goes to these nonprofit organizations to support the rescue, foster of animals from high kill shelters, the streets, and abandonment, as well as financial support and treatment for animals that have a cancer diagnosis.

Hear From Me

Medial meniscus surgery, SLAP shoulder surgery, IT band issues, PCOS, I know first hand what it feels like to feel like I don’t belong, disconnected, and “broken.”

Lived Experience

To quote Dr. Stacy Sims, “women are not small men.” We’ve been underserved and misunderstood. Trauma is often stored in the body, yet movement spaces (studios, gyms, races) rarely integrate trauma-informed approaches.

The Issue I See

My Core Way

Help humans, especially women, reconnect with their bodies, their voices as sites of ancestral and primal wisdom, healing, and liberation. Support humans in breaking cycles of generational and embodied trauma. Cultivating a cyclical and embodied model of fitness and wellness. Holding space for a conscious community that honors rhythm, shadow, and empowerment.

The Ripple Impact

Humans, especially women, feel safer, stronger, authentic, and liberated. As a community, our truths are centered and celebrated so that we shift power from patriarchal and trauma-reinforcing systems towards cyclical wisdom and embodiment.

Movement is more than performance; it’s powerful medicine. Healing is about reclaiming power, rhythm, innate wisdom, and authenticity. My work merges physiology, spirituality, and somatics into something new and revolutionary.

The Turning Point

Places you can find me.

Embodied Experience

aka the celebration of your life and training.

Reminder: You do not have to race or complete an event

  • be an athlete

  • be a runner

  • matter and have value

What do I train for? For life. Races are the celebration of that.
