Seasonal Container Setting

So that it’s not just throwing a bunch out there and hoping a pair doesn’t slam on your head.

  • What are you achieving, magnetizing, calling in?

example: Crushing the Marine Corps Marathon Strongly

  • What is the timeline, the season, or the definition of the container we’re setting our alignment up for?

    example: May 3- October 26

  • Share the things you desire during this time. What does it look like? What does it feel like?

Example: Training (running, recovery, strength training, personal practice)

    Teaching + Coaching

    Sunday connection time with Matt

Streamlining Axel and Luna’s med & food orders

  • State the things that are not supportive or in alignment from your goal. What does it look like? What does it feel like?

    Example:

    • Staying up late/not getting to bed early

    • “Plans” that don’t feel supportive or aligned

    • Incomplete meals or breakfast that does not have a protein component

    • Travel outside of upcoming races

    • Being mean to myself when I am tired

  • Life is complex and continues to roll! What are possible opportunities or future events that you know of happening? In other words, how can we mitigate any feelings of “falling off track.”

    Example:

    • Tuesdays late nights so later “start times” on Tuesday

    • Coaching office hour nights for Team Roo and Team Blue Card

    • Jesse’s birthday

  • In other words, what are some metrics along the way that will support your goal?

    Example:

    • Weekly date nights with Matt

    • Going to bed (aside from Tuesday) at 9:30 and phone is on DND

    • consistency with training in alignment with cycle training

    • feeling resourced the morning of Marine Corps Marathon

Types of Rest

  • Unplug (phone on do not disturb, not scrolling)

    Detox (clean out closet, organize)

    Sit in silence

  • Balance time alone + with others, assess relationships & let go of those draining

  • journal, self care + reflection, connecting with a friend

  • passive: sleeping, breathing, sitting

active: baths, mobility, soft tissue release, yoga, walking

  • rest + digest daily time, morning + evening devotional and integration, meditation

  • prayer, meditation, time with mama earth

  • play, dance, paint, write for no reason
